The 1060 Team are pleased to announce the release of 1.0.0 of the 1060 Forum application.

1060 Forum is a multi-user bulletin board application which runs on NetKernel. It is a high-performance service-based application written to take advantage of the NetKernel infrastructure.

Architecture

1060 Forum is composed from a core set services. A web-front-end is layered over the services. Above the web-front is a flexible access control layer. Styling is performed by a seperate pluggable style module which can be easily modified to reskin the application.

1060 Forum can be easily extended and customized with new services.
