Beyond Unit Testing

Our talk is now up as slides and slides with notes

Its been a bad afternoon for me, laptop wise. I tried adding a remote control mouse to the laptop just before the test. this was enough to stop IDEA from responding to the mouse, even after a hibernate/resume of the OS, and a restart of the app. I wasnt going to reboot, so had to skip some of the live demos. An hour earlier, I discovered Ant1.7 SVN_HEAD breaks the Cactus task, and had to switch to junit-classic instead and set it up right.

Finally, in the Maven talk (it gave me a nice warm fuzzy glow, which my experience with m1 and axis2 could not entirely eliminate), I managed to spill a saucer full of water over my keyboard. So jason had to deal with someone in the front row of the audience swearing, pulling all the batteries of the laptop up then turning it upside down and shaking it a lot. He handled the attempted subversion of his talk by the Ant team very well, and my laptop has recovered enough that I don't need to claim that "Maven killed my laptop" :)
